The boy has arrived. Proving my deep seated feeling that I could only generate girls wrong (and proving Kirstin's intuition right that this time she could correctly guess the gender or our child), Thomas came out hollering and happy yesterday morning.

The important thing was having a healthy baby and a safe birth. We got lucky on both counts and mama and baby are both recovering well for the next couple of days. Norah and Mae remain happy at home under the watch of Papa and Uma as they eagerly anticipate brother Tommy's arrival back home on Wednesday or Thursday. (If I'm being honest, the only thing they really care about is Mommy getting back home.)
