Today we ventured out to the Getty Villa, braving another very windy and crisp day. The girls adored the multiple gardens. There is nothing more beautiful than watching the young -completely uninhibited - run wild, laughing and exploring their natural surroundings. Our dear friend (and old babysitter) Alyssum is in town, on spring break from her architectural history graduate program at UVA. She guided us through the villa as we pretended we were in Italy (and sometimes the south of Spain). If only we had all day to lay around on the grass drinking wine, breaking baguettes, indulging on cheese and grapes.
