5 years today

November and December are always celebration months for us with the holidays, both Dave and my birthdays, our anniversary, New Years, etc. This year is especially celebratory, starting with the birth of Mae at the beginning of November. Wednesday we cheered on Mae as she turned 1 month, yesterday we toasted Norah as she turned 18 months and today we celebrate our 5th anniversary. (This is getting exhausting!)

Truthfully, on our 5th, we had always planned on being somewhere exotic, just the TWO of us, sipping libations, reading good books, soaking in the sun, eating delicious food, etc. As one can imagine, with the addition of Strickland 2.0 and 2.1 - not to be overlooked that this all happened within a 17 month span - our plans have evolved. Alas, nothing like celebrating five years of bliss with a walk to our local eatery, a trip to the park and then finishing it off with the library.
